o.b. (obé) menstrual tampons,
Europe, 1970
Pocket pouch
Other tampon makers, such as Pursettes,
made carriers for its tampons.
The pouch, thin flexible plastic,
measures 4.8" x 2.1" (12.1 x 5.2 cm)
at its widest. The side you don't see
is unadorned. It slides into the box
next to the instructions.
Tambrands, former maker of Tampax
tampons (now part of Procter &
Gamble), kindly donated the box as
part of a large
gift from its archives.
