Research position
available:
Graduate Student/Post Doc (PhD or MD)
needed for research on Women's Reproductive
Epidemiology to work with Dr Jerilynn C
Prior and the Centre for Menstrual Cycle and
Ovulation Research (CeMCOR) in Vancouver,
BC, Canada, on a recently funded project
related to menstrual cycles and ovulation. Candidates with a medical,
public health or biology background
preferred but all candidates with suitable
skills will be considered.
Funding on this CIHR-supported
project will start in the spring/summer of
2006. At least one year's funding is
guaranteed.
The applicant must be well
trained, committed to women's health
research, able to work with and teach a wide
variety of premenopausal women, to supervise
two research assistants, and to collect,
manage, analyze and present/write about
research results. This study provides the
opportunity to explore many menstrual
cycle-related questions.
