Besides cleaning up its logo from
1938 (here),
this ad shows a much cooler model, not
the possibly ecstatic earlier woman -
but still "Dutch" looking. Just a few
years years later Dutch menstrual
products manufacturers began showing
people of color
- and men! - reflecting
immigrants from outside Europe and a
typically Dutch openness to sex and
the sexes.
